Samsung Galaxy A25 5G: Leaked renders reveal design and expected features

The Galaxy A25 5G could be the next affordable 5G offering from Samsung.

Samsung Galaxy A25 5G: Leaked renders reveal design and expected features

Samsung's Galaxy A25 5G, set to launch in the first half of 2024, has been gaining attention alongside the Galaxy S24 series.

With official renders now available thanks to Android Headlines, we can catch an early look at the device's design and colour options.

Samsung Galaxy A25 5G Design and Colour Options

The Galaxy A25 5G will follow the footsteps of its predecessor, the Galaxy A24, which was released earlier this year with 4G connectivity. The phone will come in four colour variants: black, blue-grey, lime green, and light blue.

While Samsung may choose to use fancier names for these colours in their marketing materials, the overall colour scheme aligns with the previous generation. The design remains fairly standard for a Galaxy smartphone, with a mid-range aesthetic.

The dimensions of the phone are expected to be 162 x 77.5 x 8.3mm, featuring a slightly raised right side to accommodate the power and volume buttons.

Samsung Galaxy A25 5G Display and Cameras

The Galaxy A25 5G is rumoured to sport a 6.44-inch display with a U-shaped notch and noticeable bezels, particularly on the chin.

The notch is expected to house a 13MP selfie camera, similar to its predecessor. On the rear, Samsung maintains its tried-and-tested camera design for this model. The phone will feature three vertically-aligned cameras, with the LED flash placed alongside them.

While the primary 50MP shooter is expected to remain unchanged, details about the other two rear cameras are yet to be revealed. It is speculated that Samsung may focus on improving the camera software rather than introducing significant hardware upgrades.

Samsung Galaxy A25 5G Processor and Specs

The Galaxy A25 5G has made appearances on various benchmark listings, revealing that it will be powered by the Samsung Exynos 1280 processor.

This 5nm chip boasts two powerful ARM Cortex-A78 CPU cores clocked at 2.4GHz, along with six Cortex-A55 cores running at 2.0GHz.

The chipset will also feature ARM's Mali-G68 GPU. The phone is anticipated to offer up to 8GB of RAM, ensuring smooth multitasking and performance.

Rumoured specifications for the upcoming mid-range smartphone also include a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.
