Realme GT 6 launching in India on June 20: Check expected price, specs, and more

Realme has officially confirmed the launch date for its highly anticipated smartphone, the Realme GT 6. The device will be unveiled globally, including in India, on June 20th at 1:30 pm IST.

Realme GT 6 Launch Date and Availability

The Realme GT 6 is slated to launch simultaneously in India and other global markets. An official image released by the company features the Flipkart logo, indicating that the smartphone will be available for purchase in India through the popular e-commerce platform.

Realme GT 6 Design and Specifications (Expected)

A promotional image shared on Realme's global social media channels provides a glimpse into the design of the upcoming Realme GT 6. The smartphone appears to share a similar design aesthetic with the Realme GT Neo 6, which was launched in China in May. The rear panel features a glossy finish and houses a dual rear camera system accompanied by an LED flash unit, positioned in the top left corner.

Previous reports suggest the Realme GT 6 may be a rebranded version of the Realme GT Neo 6, potentially featuring similar specifications and features. If so, the smartphone could be powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, coupled with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. The display is expected to be a 6.78-inch 120Hz 1.5K LTPO AMOLED screen.

In terms of camera capabilities, the Realme GT 6 is likely to sport a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary sensor, an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultra-wide shooter, and a 32-megapixel Sony IMX615 front-facing camera. The device is also rumored to be equipped with a 5,500mAh battery supporting 120W charging, similar to the Realme GT Neo 6.

Realme GT 6: An "AI Flagship Killer"

Realme is promoting the GT 6 with the tagline "AI flagship killer," suggesting that the smartphone will incorporate AI-powered features and capabilities. The company's recent launch of the Realme GT 6T in India further demonstrates its commitment to expanding its smartphone portfolio in the Indian market.

Realme GT 6 Expected Price in India

Although Realme hasn't revealed the official pricing for the GT 6, the Realme GT Neo 6's price in China provides a potential reference point. The GT Neo 6 was launched at CNY 2,099 (approximately ₹24,200) for the 12GB RAM/256GB storage variant and CNY 2,399 (approximately ₹27,500) for the 16GB RAM/256GB storage variant. It's important to note that these prices are approximate conversions and may not directly reflect the final pricing in India due to factors like taxes and import duties.
