PlayStation India has announced a special summer promotional offer wherein customers can avail ₹5000 off on the purchase of all variants of the PS5 console. This offer starts from 1st April 2023 onwards and will be valid for a limited period only. This price drop will bring PS5 consoles to their original price which was increased by ₹5,000 last year.

There are two models of the PS5 console - the digital version and the disk version. Both models come with the same specifications, such as a 3.5GHz, 8-core AMD Zen 2, 10.3 teraflop RDNA 2 GPU, 6GB GDDR6 RAM, and Custom 825GB SSD. The only difference is that the more affordable PS5 digital edition does not include a disc drive for physical games and movies, whereas the PS5 disk version comes with a 4K Blu-ray drive to play game discs and movies.
