Oppo enables Airtel 5G support on its smartphones

Oppo claims that all its 5G smartphones are now compatible with Airtel's new 5G Plus service.

Oppo enables Airtel 5G support on its smartphones

OPPO India has announced that all Airtel customers will now be able to use 5G on the company’s compatible smartphones.

This makes Oppo one of the first Android brands to enable 5G on its phones.

To enable 5G on Oppo phones, users just need to go to network settings and change their preferred network to 5G.

Commenting on the development, Tasleem Arif, VP and R&D Head, OPPO India, said, "Oppo has been driven by developing technologies which enhance the quality of life for users, as stated by our brand proposition – Inspiration Ahead. One such example is 5G, we have leveraged our strengths in innovation and collaboration across the tech ecosystem to advance the same in India.
