OnePlus Buds Z2, the latest TWS earbuds by the chinese company, have now been launched globally as the successor to the OnePlus Buds Z. The OnePlus Buds Z2 come with some upgrades, such as active noise cancellation, and bigger dynamic drivers than the Buds Z.

OnePlus Buds Z2 price and availability

In the US, the OnePlus Buds Z2 have been priced at $99 (around ₹7,600) and in Europe they’ve been priced at €99 (around ₹8,600). They are available in Pearl White and Obsidian Black colours.

The OnePlus Buds Z2 have been tipped to launch in India alongside the OnePlus RT smartphone sometime in December. Pricing and availability details for India should be more clear at launch.

      OnePlus Buds Z2 specs

The OnePlus Buds Z2 are powered by 11mm dynamic drivers, which are slightly bigger than the 10mm dynamic drivers of the OnePlus Buds Z. The earbuds also get ANC support, and OnePlus claims that they can cancel out sound up to 40dB. They also get a transparency mode, to let listeners hear sounds from the environment around them, while they listen to music.

The OnePlus Buds Z2 feature a slightly different design over their predecessors too, with a 15% shorter stem and a lighter build. The earbuds are IP55 rated for dust and water resistance, while the charging case is IPX4 rated for splash resistance.

For battery, OnePlus claims that the OnePlus Buds Z2 can last for up to 38 hours of playback with the charging case, which has a 520mAh battery. The buds themselves carry a 40mAh battery, which can last for five hours of uninterrupted playback. The OnePlus Buds Z2 can also provide five hours of listening time with just 10 minutes of charging.

The OnePlus Buds Z2 offer Bluetooth v5.2 for connectivity, and have a Pro Gaming mode which comes with 94ms of latency. They also come with Cinematic Movie, Immersive Music, and Mobile Gaming modes.
