The upcoming Jio Ganga 5G is expected to be an affordable 5G Android smartphone with a price tag of under ₹10,000.

Reliance Jio, led by Mukesh Ambani, is set to introduce their newest offering in India - the highly anticipated J, codenamed Ganga.

The 5G smartphone is reported to feature the latest advancements and improved hardware, surpassing its predecessor. Known for their attractive features and affordable plans, Reliance Jio's 5G smartphones have gained a significant user base across the country.

The official unveiling of the Jio Ganga 5G phone is expected to take place toward the end of this year coinciding with the festive season of Diwali.

Jio Ganga 5G specifications

Although specific details about the Jio Ganga 5G phone have not been officially disclosed, leaked information by Abhishek Yadav suggests that it will come with several upgraded features.

This highly anticipated phone is set to be the most affordable 5G smartphone in the country, boasting enhanced features that surpass its predecessor, including improved hardware quality and camera capabilities.

It is speculated that the rear of the phone will feature a dual camera setup in a capsule design, comprising a 13MP primary camera with AI capabilities. Additionally, the phone may include an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

The device is expected to be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.

Other expected features include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ SoC, along with 4GB LPPDDR4X RAM and 32GB storage. The phone may also boast a 6.5-inch IPS LCD HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate.

Jio Ganga 5G price in India

In terms of pricing, the Jio Ganga 5G phone is anticipated to cost below ₹10,000, falling within the budget-friendly range of ₹6,000-8,000.
