Realme's new flagship smartphone, the Realme GT 5, is expected to launch soon.

Realme GT 5's front design revealed in new leak

A recently leaked render of the Realme GT 5, courtesy of reliable tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, has provided an up-close look at the smartphone's front design.

The image showcases ultra-thin bezels surrounding the device's punch-hole display, offering an immersive visual experience. The leak also hints at a metallic frame for the smartphone.

According to Digital Chat Station, the Realme GT 5 sets an impressive benchmark in terms of bezel control when compared to other flagship models like the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro and the Redmi K60 Ultra.

He suggests that Realme has achieved an unparalleled display-to-body ratio. Additionally, the leaker has praised the rear shell's texture, which reportedly surpasses that of most flagship phones.

Realme GT 5 specifications (expected)

Confirmed by Realme, the GT 5 will feature an impressive 6.74-inch OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution, ensuring vivid and sharp visuals. Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, delivering exceptional performance.

The device will also offer up to 24 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage, allowing for smooth multitasking and ample storage space.

The Realme GT 5 is expected to launch with two battery variants: a 4,600mAh option with 240W charging and a 5,200mAh variant with 150W charging.

With these battery configurations, users can expect fast charging capabilities that minimise downtime and keep them connected throughout the day.

On the camera front, the Realme GT 5 will feature a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for capturing stunning selfies.

At the rear, the device will come equipped with a triple camera setup, including a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor, an 8-megapixel lens, and a 2-megapixel lens.

This setup promises to deliver high-quality photographs and exceptional versatility for mobile photography enthusiasts.

While the Realme GT 5 is set to be unveiled in China this month, there has been no official word regarding its global availability.
