Poco M6 Pro 5G key specifications and features revealed on Geekbench ahead of imminent launch

The upcoming launch of the POCO M6 Pro 5G in India has sparked excitement among tech enthusiasts, even though the official release date is yet to be disclosed.

POCO India's country head, Himanshu Tandon, recently took to Twitter to offer a sneak peek at the phone's design, heightening anticipation for its arrival.

While specific details about the POCO M6 Pro 5G's specifications remain elusive, a recent discovery by 91mobiles on Geekbench has shed light on some key features.

Poco M6 Pro 5G specifications (leaked)

The Geekbench listing unveiled that the POCO M6 Pro 5G, identified by the model number 23076PC4BI, is equipped with a 2.2GHz processor coupled with an Adreno 613 GPU.

This configuration aligns with expectations that the smartphone is likely to house the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset. The benchmark results further indicate that the device boasts 6GB of RAM and operates on the Android 13 operating system.

Impressively, the phone achieved a single-core score of 922 and a multi-core score of 2,110 on Geekbench.

Interestingly, the Geekbench findings support the notion that the POCO M6 Pro 5G could potentially be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 12R, which has a similar chipset and specifications and is available in the Chinese market.

While awaiting a full unveiling, some aspects of the POCO M6 Pro's features have surfaced. It is anticipated to showcase a 6.79-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display boasting a refreshing 90Hz rate.

Under the hood, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC is expected to power the device, accompanied by options for up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

Camera enthusiasts can anticipate a dual rear setup, featuring a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor, along with a 5MP front-facing camera.

To keep the smartphone running, a substantial 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support is anticipated. On the software front, the POCO M6 Pro 5G is likely to debut with MIUI 14, built upon the Android 13 platform.

An intriguing teaser image offers a glimpse of the device's design, showcasing vertically aligned dual rear cameras with an LED flash on the side.

A turquoise colour option, possibly complemented by a steel frame, has been confirmed. Moreover, the smartphone is set to offer 5G compatibility, adding to its allure in the competitive market.
