As the clock ticks towards the Google Pixel 8 India launch date, consumers are gearing up for the Pixel 8 series India pre-order, set to commence on October 5, 2023, through Flipkart.

Google has officially teased essential details about the upcoming Google Pixel 8 series and accessories.

Here’s a comprehensive update on what has been unveiled through the teasers, with a focus on the eagerly awaited Google Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, and the confirmed Google Pixel Watch 2.

Google is all set to orchestrate its "Made by Google" launch event, which is slated to occur on October 4th in New York, kicking off at 10:00 am local time (7:30 pm IST).

This upcoming event will not only unveil the much-anticipated Pixel 8 series but also mark the grand entry of the Pixel Watch 2 and the Pixel Buds Pro, adding a vibrant chapter to Google's legacy in the tech industry.

Unveiling the Google Pixel 8 and Google Pixel 8 Pro

The glimpses provided by Google bring to light the aesthetic and functional attributes of the upcoming Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.

The Google Pixel 8 Pro appears to be equipped with a triple-camera setup, including an LED flash and an innovative temperature sensor situated on the rear.

The Google Pixel 8, on the other hand, will flaunt a dual-camera configuration accompanied by an LED flash, offering versatility in photography.

In terms of design, both devices emanate sophistication, with the Pixel 8 Pro being showcased in a new Porcelain color, harmonizing with the hues of the Google Pixel Watch 2 and the newly introduced Google Pixel Buds Pro.

The Google Pixel 8, meanwhile, has been teased in a soft pink shade, adding a touch of elegance to the series.

Delving deeper into the Google Pixel 8 specifications, the smartphone is anticipated to feature a 6.17-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a refreshing rate of 120Hz.

Contrarily, the Google Pixel 8 Pro is speculated to host a 6.7-inch OLED screen, fostering a vibrant visual experience.

Under the hood, both devices are expected to harbor the potent Tensor G3 chipset and a reliable Titan security chip, while running on the latest Android 14 platform.

The camera specifications highlight a potent dual 50MP setup for the Pixel 8 and a formidable 50MP primary, coupled with 64MP ultra-wide and 48MP telephoto lenses for the Pixel 8 Pro.

The Google Pixel 8 is rumored to carry a price tag of EUR 874.25 (approximately Rs. 78,400) for its 128GB variant, while the 256GB model might be available at EUR 949.30 (around Rs. 85,200).

Prospective buyers can look forward to a variety of hues, including hazel, mint, obsidian, and rose, offering a splash of personality to their device.

Google Pixel 8 Pro price in India (expected)

On the other hand, the Google Pixel 8 Pro seems to be positioned at a higher price range.

The base model with 128GB storage is anticipated to be priced at EUR 1,235.72 (approximately Rs. 1,10,900), escalating to EUR 1,309.95 (about Rs. 1,17,500) for the 256GB variant.

For those seeking expansive storage, the 512GB option might be up for grabs at EUR 1,461.24 (roughly Rs. 1,31,100).
