Google to pay $8 million settlement over deceptive Pixel 4 ads

Paxton's office claimed that Google hired radio announcers to give testimonials about the Pixel 4, despite not allowing them to use one of the phones. Paxton stated that the settlement holds Google accountable for lying to Texans for financial gain and that their statements must be true when advertising in Texas.
