Sunburn tattoos: Outdated, bizarre, risky and just why?

You may think having a little fun in the sun doesn't hurt but that's not the case with this bizarre trend. Sunburn tattoos, which is a fairly old and extremely risky body-modification summer fad, is trending on social media yet again. The trend involves people sticking plastic stencils on their skin before they go out in the sun to get a sunburn that looks like a semi-permanent tattoo. There are even brands that sell stickers exclusively for this purpose but neither we nor your dermatologist will recommend you try this at home.
