Kakinada, Aug 5 (PTI) - In a thrilling day at the Junior Women's National Championship on Tuesday, Hockey Madhya Pradesh, Hockey Haryana, Hockey Jharkhand, and the Hockey Association of Odisha emerged victorious in their respective pool clashes. In the Division 'A' matches, Hockey Madhya Pradesh delivered a commanding performance against Hockey Chandigarh, securing a 5-0 win. Krishna Sharma was a standout with two goals in the 36th and 45th minutes, complemented by goals from Kajal (29'), Aayushi Patel (50'), and Annu (58'). Continuing the winning streak, Hockey Haryana outplayed Hockey Bengal with a decisive 7-1 victory. In a more competitive encounter, Hockey Jharkhand managed to overcome Hockey Karnataka 2-0. The day's action concluded with the Hockey Association of Odisha defeating Hockey Andhra Pradesh 3-1. In Division 'B', Uttarakhand showcased a dominant display by thrashing Puducherry 11-0, while Tamil Nadu and Delhi ended their match in an exhilarating 3-3 draw.
