ICC World Cup 2023 points table: India replace New Zealand to claim top spot | IND vs NZ | Virat Kohli

Rohit Sharma's Team India clipped Kiwi's wings with a stunning 4-wicket win as they replaced the New Zealanders in the top spot of the ODI World Cup points table. The Men in Blue not only made it to no. 1 place but also handed the New Zealanders their first defeat at the ongoing 2023 edition of the ODI World Cup.

For India it was also their first win against New Zealand in any ICC event after 20 years.

The 21st match was historic for India but it did not make much difference to the points table as it was only a fight for the top spot.
