The then India batting coach Sanjay Bangar revealed that it was a heartbreaking moment for all the players as India were playing excellent cricket.

'We won 7 matches in the league phase and to bow out like that was not good. Players cried like kids. MS Dhoni was crying like a child. Hardik Pandya and Rishabh Pant had tears in their eyes. Such stories remain in the dressing room,' he added.

Chasing just 240 to win in that game, 92/6. That's when Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja got together and brought the Men in Blue back into the contest with a half century each.

However, India failed to cross the finish line as MSD was run out with a handful of runs required for victory.
