West Ham moved above Manchester United with a 2-0 victory at the London Stadium. The two goals came in the second half of the game from Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus and proved to be enough for West Ham to secure a win and take Hammers up to the sixth spot.

It was the fourth successive match for Manchester United in all competitions where the team has failed to score any goal. Erik Ten Hag's side have now suffered eight league defeats so far this season and sit eighth in the table, six points behind fourth and 11 points behind leaders Arsenal.

Arsenal vs Liverpool ends in a draw

Arsenal ensured they would be top of the Premier League at Christmas as they earned a 1-1 draw away at Liverpool. This draw means that Arsenal have not won at Anfield since September 2012. It was Gabriel Magalhaes who scored the first goal of the match in the fourth minute and gave Arsenal the lead but, Mohamed Salah scored the equalizer for Liverpool in the 29th minute of the game and from there, there wasn't any other goal scored in the goal and the match ended in a draw.

Other results

Tottenham moved to fourth, three points behind Arsenal, with a 2-1 win against Everton in north London. Luton bolstered their bid for survival with an impressive 1-0 win against Newcastle at Kenilworth Road. Meanwhile, Bournemouth’s Dominic Solanke ruined Nuno Espirito Santo’s first match in charge of Nottingham Forest as the striker’s 94th-minute hat-trick sealed a 3-2 victory.
