Australia's cricket captain, Pat Cummins, along with pace bowler Josh Hazlewood, landed in Sydney early Wednesday, greeted by celebrations after securing Australia's sixth ICC Cricket World Cup title.

Cummins' strategic brilliance was on full display during the World Cup, marked by his bold decision to win the toss and opt for India to bat first, a move that proved to be a masterstroke on the challenging pitch in Ahmedabad. The Australian team's exceptional performance left the nearly hundred thousand-strong crowd at the Narendra Modi Stadium in stunned silence for significant portions of the game.

The six-wicket victory over India not only sealed Australia's triumph in the tournament but also marked their sixth ICC World Cup title overall. This victory holds special significance as it is the second time Australia has clinched the coveted trophy on Indian soil.
