Mithali Raj to come out of retirement for Women's IPL?

Mithali Raj who has played 232 ODI matches, 89 T20Is, and 12 Tests said that she would keep her options open to play in Women's IPL.

Former Indian women's cricketer Mithali Raj who had earlier this year announced her retirement from international cricket has kept her option of playing in the women's IPL open.

The ex-India captain while speaking on ICC's 100% ticket Podcast said that while there is time for the women's IPL, she has not decided yet. However, the 39-year-old who has played 232 ODI matches, 89 T20Is, and 12 Tests added that she would keep her options open.

BCCI President Sourav Ganguly had said earlier this year that the board is preparing to launch women's IPL next year likely. Notably, the Indian board organises a week-long T20 Women's Challenger series among 3 teams.
