India tour of West Indies to go ahead as planned, players get US visas for last two T20Is

India's tour of the West Indies will go ahead as planned after players from both sides received their US visas.

There were dark clouds over the last 2 T20I, which were scheduled to be played in Florida, as stamping of the visas was delayed. Cricket West Indies was even considering hosting the final 2 games of the series in the Caribbean itself but the issue has now been resolved.

According to a report in ESPNcricinfo, the members of India and West Indies had to fly down to Georgetown in a charter flight after the third T20I in St. Kitts. Those with the requisite USA visa flew from St. Kitts, while the rest of the visitors will fly into Miami from Georgetown on Thursday.

Cricket West Indies also faced a major logistical issue when they had to postpone the starting time of the 2nd and 3rd T20I due to the late arrival of team kits from Trinidad.
