Cricket Club in UK creates Tinder profile to recruit cricketers

You might have found dates on Tinder but this Cricket Club in England is using the platform for something else.

In an interesting incident, the Englefield Green Cricket Club of Surrey, UK came up with a very unique way of recruiting cricketers. To woo the cricketers, the club made an account of a 36-year-old woman on the dating site Tinder. However, the bio and the profile image narrate the true story of the account.

While the bio of the profile, reads, "George, 36, looking for new players for Englefield cricket club, the profile picture has a pint of lager placed near the ropes, with a match going on in the background.

Deterred to find a budding cricketer on Tinder, the club even left their contact details in the bio. Now that's just being desperate, to say the least.
