Sheikha Mahra took to Instagram and shared a post, divorcing her husband. It read, “Dear husband, As you are occupied with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce. I divorce you, I divorce you, and I divorce you. Take care. Your ex-wife."

Since being shared the post has over 92k likes and many comments supporting her move.

Who is Sheikha Mahra?

Shaikha Mahra is the daughter of the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and the Ruler of Dubai. She is an advocate for women's empowerment and local designers in the UAE.

She is one of the 26 children of the Dubai ruler and Emirati and Greek roots as her mother, Zoe Grigorakos, is from Greece. While her mom is divorced from her father, she seems to share a close relationship with her.

She married Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum in May last year. Her husband is an Emirati businessman and has multiple business ventures. A year after their wedding, the duo welcomed a daughter.

The couple had hosted a gender reveal party in February.
