Neel Garg blasts former Punjab CM Channi over 'AAP govt will fall after June 1' remark

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab hit back at the former chief minister Charanjit Singh Channi for his statement where he claimed that the AAP government in Punjab will fall after June 1st.

In a statement released from the party office on Wednesday, the AAP leader and spokesperson Neel Garg said that the Mann government will be here, working stronger than before, after the June 1st, but he's not sure Charanjit Channi will be able to show his face after the result of the Lok Sabha polls.

Garg said that Charanjit Singh Channi is at the end of the road, he was already utterly rejected by the people of Punjab in the last assembly elections and people saw the piles of cash that ED recovered from his nephew, so his corruption is not hidden from anyone.

The AAP leader said that Charanjit Channi is misleading the people of Punjab and Jalandhar, he has nothing to say to the people, no clarification about the corruption and scams during his government, so he's making up all these things to secure some votes.

Neel Garg said that they (AAP MLAs) are soldiers of revolutionary leader Arvind Kejriwal, and even Operation Lotus failed to sway them in any wrong direction. He said that the people of Punjab gave the Mann government the biggest mandate in Punjab and we have the utmost respect for the decision of the public.
