Renowned cultural and literary figure Deepak Bali has been appointed as the Advisor to Punjab’s Department of Tourism and Cultural Affairs. He aims to promote Punjab’s heritage and tourism globally.

Deepak Bali, a prominent figure in Punjab’s cultural, literary, and music scene, has officially assumed charge as the Advisor to the Department of Tourism and Cultural Affairs at Sector 38.

The event witnessed the presence of distinguished personalities from political, literary, cultural, musical, and other spheres.

Expressing his commitment to Punjab’s rich heritage, Deepak Bali shared that he has been actively involved in the fields of heritage, language, and art since 1986.

He emphasized his dedication to promoting Punjab’s culture and heritage on both national and international platforms. He further stated that he will work tirelessly to advance Punjab’s tourism sector and ensure the younger generation connects with the state's cultural roots.

Deepak Bali extended his gratitude to former Delhi Chief Minister and party convener Arvind Kejriwal for this opportunity. He affirmed his commitment to fulfilling the responsibility entrusted to him by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann for the development of Punjab’s culture, art, and tourism sector.

Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhawan and Cabinet Minister & Party President Aman Arora acknowledged Bali’s vast social and cultural experience, stating that Punjab will greatly benefit from his expertise.

They also highlighted how his political background would contribute to shaping new policies. They expressed confidence that Bali would elevate Punjab’s cultural, artistic, and tourism landscape to new heights.

The occasion was graced by Tourism Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond, Cabinet Ministers Harpal Singh Cheema, Mohinder Bhagat, and Hardeep Singh Mundian, along with MLA Amansher Singh Sherry Kalsi.

Also in attendance were key figures from Punjab’s boards and corporations, including Sunny Ahluwalia, Navjot Singh Jarg, Bal Mukand Sharma, and Rajwinder Kaur Thiara.

The event also saw the participation of renowned artists and musicians such as Roshan Prince, Amar Noori, Jasbir Gunachuriya, Alap Sikandar, Sarang Sikandar, Sachin Ahuja, Sukhi Brar, Pammi Bai, and Sonia Mann.
