PM Modi slams AAP govt over education policy, alleges manipulation of Class 10 results

PM accuses AAP of filtering students to protect its image; BJP claims Delhi’s education model prioritizes propaganda over real progress.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday launched a sharp attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Delhi, alleging that it is manipulating student promotions to safeguard its reputation.

Modi Alleges AAP Filters Students to Maintain Board Exam Success Rate

During an interaction with students, PM Modi claimed that the Delhi government does not allow underperforming Class 9 students to advance to Class 10, ensuring that only those who are guaranteed to pass board exams are promoted.

"I have heard that in Delhi, students who perform poorly in Class 9 are not promoted to Class 10. They only allow those students in Class 10 who are certain to clear the board exams. They fear that if the results are poor, the image of their government will be tarnished," Modi said in the interaction.

BJP Accuses AAP of Prioritizing Image Over Student Welfare

BJP leaders echoed Modi’s remarks, alleging that AAP has compromised students' futures to showcase an artificially successful education model.

"Instead of focusing on improving learning outcomes, they denied students the opportunity to take exams, prioritizing propaganda over real progress," a BJP leader stated.

AAP, BJP, and Congress in Fierce Battle Ahead of Delhi Polls

With the Delhi Assembly elections scheduled for February 5 and results to be announced on February 8, the AAP, BJP, and Congress are engaged in a high-stakes electoral battle.

Education has been a key campaign issue, with AAP touting its school reforms as a major achievement, while BJP continues to challenge the credibility of Delhi’s education model.

As political attacks escalate, the voters will soon decide whether AAP’s education reforms resonate or if BJP’s criticism gains traction in the final verdict.
