Pros
  • Lightweight design
  • Easy single-hand usage
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • Above average performance
  • The feather Gold colour is too flashy

Are you in search of an ultra-sleek phone that won't break the bank? If so, the Narzo N53 is the answer. Realme claims it's their slimmest phone yet, but does its slimness compromise its overall package? Let's find out.

Design:

The Realme Narzo N53 sports a super sleek all-plastic build, measuring just 7.49mm. The back panel's flashy design wasn't to my liking, although my colleagues loved the colour. The bottom houses a USB Type-C port, headphone jack, and speaker grille. The phone feels lightweight and easy to handle. Overall, I liked the design except for the colour.

Display:

The 6.74-inch LCD display has a rare 90Hz refresh rate at this price point. The display quality is decent, but viewing angles are not great because of its LCD technology. However, overall, the display is nice for content-watching.

Performance:

Equipped with a Unisoc T612 chipset, up to 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage, the Narzo N53 handles day-to-day tasks with ease. However, don't expect console-level gaming performance from this phone. It runs on Realme UI T edition based on Android 13, featuring the Mini Capsule feature found in the Realme C55. Some bloatware apps are present but can be uninstalled.

Camera:

Despite its triple camera appearance, the Narzo N53 actually has a single 50MP camera that captures decent photos in daylight. The front camera offers 8MP resolution and takes satisfactory shots. Video recording is limited to 1080P for the rear camera and 720P for the front.

Battery:

The Narzo N53 boasts a massive 5000mAh battery within its slim design, providing more than enough power for a full day of usage. Realme includes a 33W fast charger in the box, capable of quickly topping up the battery in just 88 minutes.

Verdict:

With decent performance, good cameras, an appealing design, and impressive battery life, the Narzo N53 doesn't compromise on features despite its slim form factor. Priced under 10k, this phone has the potential to be a hot seller.
