‘Koffee With Karan’ 8: Deepika Padukone to Varun Dhawan; meet the winners of this season

The eighth season of ‘Koffee with Karan’ concluded recently, with Karan Johar hosting Sumukhi Suresh, Kusha Kapila, Danish Sait, and Tanmay Bhat for the Koffee awards presentation. These guests also served as the jury, voting on the season's top moments and performances. In a light-hearted moment, Karan playfully acknowledged his resemblance to the character Poo while presenting the 'best moment' award to Rani Mukerji and Kajol.

The season's most entertaining segment, the rapid-fire round, had a surprise twist as Saif Ali Khan and Ananya Panday shared the 'Best rapid fire' award. Ananya playfully credited a 'boy Kapur' for her victory, referring to her episode with Sara Ali Khan.

For the 'Best episode' of the season, the nominations included Rani Mukerji-Kajol, Kareena Kapoor-Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn-Rohit Shetty, Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone, and Varun Dhawan-Sidharth Malhotra. The jury crowned Rani Mukerji and Kajol's episode as the winner, with a special jury award for the heartfelt conversation between Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.

Saif Ali Khan was honored with the 'Best performance – male' award, and Kareena joined in to celebrate the win. Deepika Padukone received the 'Best performance – female' award for her candid appearance.

Varun Dhawan had the last laugh, winning the 'Best Koffee burn' award of the season for his playful jabs at Karan, including calling him 'Karan Johar ghar-tode' and 'Komolika'.
