The Internet has been obsessing over the Korean show 'Squid Game' on Netflix. The Korean survivalist drama has gathered a lot of following since it was released on the OTT giant two weeks ago.

One user wrote, "K-dramas don't have a problem with non-Korean actors, adding that Anupam Tripathi is a wonderful actor who is very good on the show".

Another user said, "The socio-political aspect was aptly portrayed on the show, the treatment of foreign workers, the harsh working and living conditions was a nice touch and added a dynamic angle to the personal stories and Anupam did a fantastic job".

32-year-old Anupam Tripathi was born in India but later moved to South Korea. Along with graduating from the Korean National University in Arts, Anupam Tripathi started chasing his acting dreams.

In 2014, he got his first film role in 'Ode To My Father', which ended up becoming the fourth highest-grossing film in the history of South Korean cinema. He also had a supporting role in Netflix's 2021 Korean Sci-fi feature, 'Space Sweepers'.

Anupam Tripathi plays Abdul Ali, a Pakistani who finds himself and his family in Korea, with no way to support them. Ali is forced to take part in this brutal game and try his luck.
