      US President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden are all set to welcome Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the White House on June 22.

      Mrs. Biden has shared exciting details about the upcoming State Dinner and mentioned that the venue would be beautifully decorated in green with saffron-coloured flowers, representing the Indian flag.

      This event will celebrate the growing partnership between the two countries.

      ‘Tomorrow night, guest will walk across the South Lawn into a pavilion draped in rich greens with saffron-coloured flowers at every table -- the colours of the Indian flag,’ she said.

      First Lady Jill Biden has worked closely with acclaimed guest Chef Nina Curtis, White House Executive Chef Cris Comerford, and White House Executive Pastry Chef Susie Morrison to craft a delectable menu for the highly-anticipated State Dinner.

      The menu was showcased during a media preview event held at the White House.

      The evening also promises to be a musical delight with Grammy award winner Joshua Bell and the acapella group Penn Masala taking the stage. They will showcase their talent by blending Indian-inspired tunes with Western influences.

      About 400 guests will dine at the event. Apple CEO Tim Cook, Alphabet's Google CEO Sundar Pichai, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and FedEx (CEO Raj Subramaniam are likely to attend the State Dinner.
