Hina Khan's revelation about her battle with Stage 3 breast cancer has deeply affected her fans and supporters. Despite her diagnosis, the television star remains resolute and determined. On her Instagram Stories, she shared a poignant message titled ‘A window to my journey,’ where she acknowledged the daunting challenges faced by cancer patients.

She hopes her journey will inspire others facing similar battles to find strength and courage, encouraging them to ‘turn a page in their own stories for good.’

Her message urged fellow fighters not to let fear overshadow their journey. She wrote, ‘This is to all those brave women and men battling this tough fight... I hope my journey can inspire others to find courage and make positive changes in their lives. We may bear scars, but we must not be afraid. #Scarrednotscared (sic).’

The actor added the song ‘Bandeya Rey Bandeya’ by Arijit Singh and Asees Kaur to her Instagram Stories.

Actor's disclosure

Hina Khan, the 36-year-old actor, disclosed her cancer diagnosis via an Instagram post on June 28. In her heartfelt message, she expressed her determination to combat the disease, stating that she is pursuing every possible avenue to overcome it. Her candid revelation has garnered widespread support and well-wishes from fans and the entertainment community alike.

Her note read, ‘Hello Everyone, To address the recent rumour, I want to share some important news with all the Hinaholics and everyone who loves and cares for me. I have been diagnosed with Stage Three Breast Cancer. Despite this challenging diagnosis, I want to reassure everyone that I am doing well. I am strong, determined, and fully committed to overcoming this disease. My treatment has already begun, and I am ready to do everything necessary to emerge from this even stronger (sic).’

She further added, ‘I kindly ask for your respect and privacy during this time. I deeply appreciate your love, strength, and blessings. Your personal experiences, anecdotes, and supportive suggestions would mean the world to me as I navigate this journey. I, along with my family and loved ones, remain focused, determined, and positive. With the grace of the Almighty, we believe I will overcome this challenge and be completely healthy. Please send your prayers, blessings. and love. Love, Hina (sic).’

Hina Khan gained prominence for her portrayal of Akshara in the popular TV series 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai'. She has also showcased her talent in reality shows like 'Bigg Boss' and 'Khatron Ke Khiladi'. In addition to her television career, she has appeared in various projects including 'Hacked', 'Damaged 2', and 'Shinda Shinda No Papa'.
