Mrunal Thakur is ‘thrilled’ as she gets to share screen with Vijay Deverakonda in ‘VD13’: ‘Can't wait…’

Actors Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur have teamed up with director Parasuram for his next project, tentatively titled ‘VD13’.

The film went on floors on June 14 with an official puja ceremony in Hyderabad.

Mrunal Thakur shared a series of pictures from the puja ceremony and wrote, ‘The first step in a very exciting journey...It's my 1st time working with @srivenkateswaracreations and I'm really thrilled to be sharing the screen with @thedeverakonda. Can't wait for the shoot to begin.’
The makers of the film also shared a few photos from the official launch ceremony of ‘VD13’ on Twitter.

In the photos, the ‘Liger’ actor is seen with a short hairstyle and a trimmed beard.

He wore a green kurta with white pajamas for the puja. Mrunal donned a peach-coloured ethnic suit.

‘VD13’ will be Mrunal’s third Telugu film.

The film is currently in the pre-production stage and the shooting is going to start soon.

Meanwhile, Vijay Deverakonda will next be seen sharing screen space with Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the romantic entertainer, ‘Kushi’.

The movie is directed by Shiva Nirvana and Mythri Movie Makers is bankrolling the drama.

The film is scheduled to release on September 1 in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
