Malayalam actor Divya Prabha took to social media to share that she was harassed by a fellow passenger on the Air India Flight AI 681 from Mumbai to Kochi. She said despite reporting to the Air hostess, the only action taken was relocating her to another seat, just before the take-off.

Divya Prabha further revealed that she has filed a complaint with the Kerala police.

She wrote, ‘Dear Friends, Need your support to bring attention to a disturbing incident I faced on Air India Flight AI 681 from Mumbai to Kochi. A fellow passenger, intoxicated and disruptive, harassed me during the flight.’

She continued, ‘Despite reporting to the Air hostess, the only action taken was relocating me to another seat, just before the takeoff . After landing at kochi airport the issue was reported to airport and airline authorities who redirected me to the police aid post in the airport . Here's my formal complaint to the Kerala Police, urging them to investigate this matter. Let's raise awareness about the importance of passenger safety and encourage authorities to take appropriate actions. Your support means a lot!’

In her lengthy note, Divya Prabha also wrote that the safety and well-being of passengers should be a top priority, and she believes that a thorough investigation into the matter is crucial.

Meanwhile, Nedumbassery police said they received an email from her requesting to consider it as her formal complaint.

‘We are looking into the matter. We are trying to contact her to collect more details regarding the incident. However, we are yet to get her on the phone,’ an officer told PTI.
