'KGF Chapter 2' song 'Toofan' out: soundtrack is bound to 'storm' your mind

Kick-starting the promotional campaign for his much-awaited movie, 'KGF: Chapter 2', filmmaker Prashanth Neel has unveiled the first song from the film.

Titled Toofan, the song chronicles the rise of Yash’s character Rocky as a saviour of enslaved people in the gold mines of Kolar.

The upbeat song has been composed by Ravi Basrur, written by Shabbir Ahamad, and sung by multiple singers including Brijesh Shandilya, Mohan Krishna, Laxman Datta Naik, among others.

Hombale Films (the producers of the movie) stated that the song will set the tone for the second instalment of 'KGF' franchise. The energetic beats and the unbeatable rhythm of the track perfectly matches the saga of Rocky, the legendary warrior who fights against all odds to emerge as a true victor.

Also starring Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Prakash Raj in prominent roles, 'KGF: Chapter 2' will release in theatres on April 14 in multiple languages.
