KGF Chapter 2: Director Prashanth Neel shares major update on the Yash starrer

The highly-anticipated film 'KGF Chapter 2' will be releasing in April this year. Given that the fans are eager to see Kannada actor Yash’s return to the big screen, the makers have announced that the trailer would be releasing on March 27.

The film trailer's release date comes just over a month after Prashanth posted Yash's poster from the film and stated that the film will be released on April 14 as planned.

'KGF Chapter 1' was a massive hit when it was released in 2018. Rocky, played by Yash, is adamant about keeping his promise to his dying mother that he will not die poor. While Yash returns as Rocky in the sequel, Sanjay Dutt plays Adheera, Rocky's arch-enemy. Raveena Tandon will be seen playing Ramika Sen, a powerful political leader in the film.

'KGF Chapter 2' will be released in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi. The film is being presented by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar from Excel Entertainment and AA Films; and is backed by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Films.
