Jr NTR's cousin Nandamuri Taraka Ratna is no more; Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun and others pay tribute

Actor and Jr NTR's cousin Nandamuri Taraka Ratna passed away on February 18, Saturday. The 39-year-old actor was in a coma after suffering a heart attack and reportedly breathed his last at a private hospital in Bengaluru.

Taraka Ratna was a part of Yuvagalam Padayatra of TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh in Chittoor district in Andhra Pradesh on January 27, 2022, and fainted suddenly after suffering a heart attack. His condition deteriorated with time, and he went into coma.

Superstar Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, Ravi Teja, Allari Naresh and others paid tribute to the late actor.

Mahesh Babu wrote, ‘Shocked and deeply saddened by the untimely demise of #TarakaRatna. Gone way too soon brother... My thoughts and prayers are with the family and loved ones during this time of grief.’

Actor Allu Arjun took to his official social media handles and wrote, ‘Heartbroken to learn of the passing away of #TarakaRatna garu. Gone too soon. My deepest condolences to his family, friends & fans. May he rest in peace.’

The actor is survived by his wife Alekhya Reddy and their daughter.

For the unversed, Nandamuri Taraka Ratna was the grandson of legendary film actor and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister late N T Rama Rao and son of Nandamuri Mohan Krishna. He was the nephew of Nandamuri Balakrishna, and the cousin of actor Jr NTR and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, and politician Nara Lokesh.
