‘Devara’: Jr NTR starrer will stream on THIS OTT platform after theatrical release

‘Devara,’ featuring Jr NTR, is generating a lot of excitement among fans and it is one of the most eagerly anticipated films of the year.

In a surprising move, the film's producers have revealed that the film will have an OTT release shortly after its theatrical debut. This announcement has ignited a surge of enthusiasm among fans who are eagerly anticipating both the film's initial release and its subsequent availability on the Netflix platform.

Netflix took to its Instagram handle and wrote, ‘Devara strikes fear in the hearts of villains. Gear up for the ultimate hero. #Devara is coming soon on Netflix in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi as a post theatrical release!’
Fans were quick to comment on the post.

One of the fans wrote, ‘Direct OTT release ahh.’ Another wrote, ‘Vammo direct Netflix lo osthundi anukunna.’
Recently, a glimpse of ‘Devara Part One’ was unveiled, featuring striking scenes of boats approaching the coast. In this teaser, the hero bravely confronts a group of goons as the boats reach the shore, resulting in a dramatic and visually captivating moment where the sea appears to turn scarlet due to the ensuing violence.
Anirudh Ravichander, known for his musical compositions in films like ‘Master,’ ‘Vikram,’ and ‘Leo,’ has crafted an English track for ‘Devara,’ which is prominently showcased in the promotional material.

It's worth noting that ‘Devara’ holds special significance as it marks Jr NTR's 30th film.
Reportedly, the actor will be portraying both a father and a son in this movie, adding to the intrigue surrounding his role.

Additionally, ‘Devara’ serves as the Telugu debut for Janhvi Kapoor, and the film also features an ensemble cast that includes Prakash Raj, Srikanth Meka, Tom Shine Chacko, and Narain. The film is presented by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and produced under the banners of NTR Arts and Yuvasudha Arts.

Reports suggest that ‘Devara’ is being crafted on an extensive budget, with speculations indicating a staggering Rs 140 crore allocated for its VFX work. It's rumoured that around 33 percent of the film's original budget is dedicated to special effects, although there has been no official confirmation regarding these figures.
