Bujji and Bhairava trailer out: Animated prelude to Nag Ashwin’s ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ all set to release

Nag Ashwin directorial ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is all set to release in June. While the anticipation builds for the sci-fi action thriller starring Prabhas and Deepika Padukone, ‘The B&B: Bujji and Bhairava’ animated prelude to the film is all set to premiere on OTT platform. The makers dropped a intriguing trailer of the two-part series on Thursday, giving a glimpse of 'The Kalki Cinematic Universe’.

The trailer introduces Prabhas’ character Bhairava and his robotic vehicle partner Bujji in 2896 AD in Kashi. Bhairava, the bounty hunter is seen looking for a bike to buy. He meets Bujji, the custom-made vehicle introduced by the ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ makers last week. The trailer shows the friendship and adventures of Bhairava and Bujji and ends with Bujji wondering about their future.

Keerthy Suresh has given voice to Bujji’s character. The series showcases the bond between Prabhas’ character Bhairava and his robotic vehicle Bujji. The makers of ‘Chhota Bheem’, Green Gold Animation, has joined hands with the Kalki makers to produce the animated series.

B&B will be available on online streaming platform Amazon Prime Video from May 31. It will be released in Telugu, Hindi, English and Spanish. The makers aim to raise anticipation before the film hits the theatres with the animated series.
