Superstar Vijay Thalapathy's viral videos have surfaced online as the actor is seen surrounded by massive crowd of fans when he reached the polling booth to cast his vote. In the videos the Leo actor is seen struggling to get out of the crowd with the help of security and his body guards. The actor's pics of finally casting his vote has also been shared on social media.

Other actors also cast their votes

Actor Surya also reached to cast vote. Earlier, actors Vijay Sethupathi, Dhanush, Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan and Yogi Babu were also seen casting their votes. With the Lok Sabha elections, the grandeur of elections has started in the world's largest democracy.

First phase of Lok Sabha polls begin on April 19

In this phase, voting is taking place on 102 Lok Sabha seats of 21 states and union territories. General elections will be held in India from 19 April 2024 to 1 June 2024 to elect the 543 members of the 18th Lok Sabha. The elections will be held in seven phases and the results will be announced on 4 June 2024.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appealed to the youth of the seats where elections are being held in the first phase to vote enthusiastically.
