BTS universe inspired ‘Begins Youth’ to premiere in April; here's when and where to watch it

The long wait of BTS ARMY is finally going to be over. Inspired by the BTS fictional concept, also referred to as the ‘Bangtan Universe’, K-drama ‘Begins Youth’ is all set to premiere in April. The show is largely based on ‘The Most Beautiful Moment in Life’ or HYYH era and tells the story of seven struggling teenagers finding solace in their friendship.

‘Begins Youth’ Release date

The show, which was announced in 2020, has witnessed multiple delays despite the filming being wrapped up in 2021. Amid the huge excitement and anticipation, the BTS Universe inspired show will be released in April 2024, however, the exact release date in April is still under the wraps.

Where to watch ‘Begins Youth’

The much-anticipated show will exclusively premiere on OTT platform Xclusive, created by Finger Labs. The company which is also behind the production of this series plans to push for the platform by launching the show in April. Xclusive is said to be the first platform to use Web 3.0 technology.

The series will be released in three parts with each season consisting of 12 episodes. A pre-sale of the series will open in April for a month. Fans can either opt for this exclusive option to watch the show or else wait till May when the show will be available with a purchase per episode option.

The series is being produced by HYBE labels in collaboration with Chorokbaem Media and Finger Labs. ‘Begins Youth’ follows the story of seven young students and borrows the plot from the BTS music video storyline, short films, video games and webtoons. Hwan, Cein, Hosu, Dogeon, Haru, Jooan, and Jeha will play the septet and portray a tale of friendship amid their struggles.
