Parineeti Chopra who attended the trailer launch event of ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ was rumoured to be pregnant after her recent appearances showed her in oversized and loose outfits. Addressing these rumours, Parineeti put out a witty response. On her Instagram story, the actor wrote, “Kaftan dress=pregnancy, oversized shirt=pregnancy, Comfy Indian Kurta=pregnancy” and added a laughing emoji. As the actor boldly responded to the rumours, her quirky reaction has gone viral on social media.

What started the rumours?

The rumours started when the actor and singer who recently returned from London was seen wearing a black puffer jacket at the airport despite the sweltering summer in Mumbai. This was not all. Following this, the actor opted for a baggy black kaftan outfit for the trailer launch event of her upcoming film on Thursday, fuelling the speculations further.

Parineeti Chopra tied the knot with her college sweetheart and politician Raghav Chadha in September 2023. The two have been setting couple goals on the Internet with their romantic getaways and glimpses from their vacations.

On the work front, Parineeti will be seen in Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ and share the screen with Diljit Dosanjh. In the film based on the life of Punjab’s greatest singer Amar singh Chamkila, the actor will essay the role of singer’s wife Amarjot Kaur. The film will premiere on Netflix on April 12.
