BTS’s J-Hope is heading home from military service, BIGHIT MUSIC requests fans to avoid the site

As J-Hope's military discharge approaches, BigHit Music has issued a statement, letting fans know that there will be ‘no special events’ to celebrate the occasion. They have strongly advised the BTS ARMY to ‘stay away from the site.’

The statement read, ‘Hello. This is BIGHIT MUSIC. We are excited to bring you the news of J-Hope’s upcoming military discharge. J-Hope is close to completing his active service in the army and will soon be discharged. Discharge day is a day shared by many service members.’

It also read, ‘No special events are planned on the day of J-Hope’s discharge. To prevent any issues arising from overcrowding, fans are strongly advised to refrain from visiting the site. Please convey your warm regards and encouragement in your hearts.’

‘We are always grateful for your unwavering love and support for j-hope. Our company will continue to put our utmost effort into supporting our artists. Thank you once again for your continued love and support for BTS,’ concluded the statement.

Following Jin, J-Hope is the second BTS member set to complete his service in the South Korean military. Last month, he took to Weverse to celebrate the 30-day countdown to his discharge, sharing, "One month, exactly 30 days left! Time has flown by, but I'm already feeling nostalgic. I guess I've grown quite attached to everything here. I've been packing up, giving away some of my cherished gear, and my locker is starting to look a little empty."

J-Hope is scheduled to return on October 17. After him, RM, Suga, Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook are expected to be discharged in June next year.

Hope debuted with BTS in 2013 under BigHit Entertainment. The group quickly gained global fame and became a leading force in the K-pop industry. Known for his energetic dance moves, J-Hope brings a unique blend of hip-hop and pop to BTS’s music. He often infuses positivity and hope into his lyrics, which resonates with fans.

In 2018, J-Hope released his solo mixtape titled Hope World, which was well-received and showcased his versatility as an artist. The lead single, ‘Daydream,’ highlighted his vibrant personality and musicality. He has collaborated with various artists, including Becky G on ‘Chicken Noodle Soup,’ which celebrated cultural diversity and his love for dance.
