Taylor Swift expertly handles wardrobe malfunction mid-concert; asks fans to ‘talk amongst yourselves’

Singer Taylor Swift handled a tech issue with ease during her Eras Tour show in Stockholm, Sweden, on May 19. When a sound device attached to her outfit ‘came undone,’ the ‘Fortnight’ singer told the crowd, ‘Just talk amongst yourselves.’

She then sat at her piano bench and undid her ombré blue wrap dress, revealing a black-and-gold bedazzled set underneath from the Tortured Poets Department era.

When her adjustments didn't work, a crew member assisted her. Fans were surprised, with one asking, ‘Oh, is she changing?’

‘She's having a wardrobe malfunction!’ a concertgoer screamed as the pop star quickly managed her mid-era tour crisis while handling technical difficulties. Once the problem was resolved, she wiggled a bit before continuing her piano set for ‘How Did It End?’ a track from her newly released album.

‘Oh, Errors Tour, you’ll always be famous,’ joked someone from the crowd.

This isn't the first time Swift has dealt with wardrobe slip-ups during her concerts. In November 2023, her expensive Christian Louboutin boot broke during the Lover set in Rio de Janeiro, but she handled it like a pro, tossing the heel into the crowd, where a lucky fan caught it.

With a promise to return, Taylor Swift concluded her three record-breaking shows in Stockholm, Sweden on May 20.

Sharing a few photos from her performances on X, Swift thanked fans for attending in record-breaking numbers over the weekend.

She wrote, ‘Thank you for being the most generous, excitable, magical crowds, and for breaking the all time attendance record for the stadium all 3 nights.’ She added, ‘Can’t believe this was our first time playing in Sweden, but it won’t be our last…’

Taylor Swift is having a fantastic time in Europe. Following her successful Italy gig, she also spent some moments with her beau, Travis Kelce.
