The much-talked-about Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard trial continues to grab everyone’s attention across the world. On Wednesday, British model Kate Moss, who dated Depp from 1994 till 1998, took to the witness stand in the defamation case.
Her testimony via video lasted for three minutes, in which she refuted reports that stated Depp had pushed her down a staircase. 
Describing what actually transpired during their holiday at GoldenEye resort in Jamaica, Moss said, ‘We were leaving the room, and Johnny left the room before I did, and there had been a rainstorm. As I left the room, I slid down the stairs and I hurt my back.’
‘I screamed because I didn’t know what had happened to me and I was in pain. He came running back to help me and carried me to my room and got me medical attention,” she said.“He never pushed me, kicked me or threw me down any stairs,” Moss further added.
Heard’s lawyers refused to cross-examine Moss. The ‘Aquaman’ actor mentioned Moss in her testimony earlier this month. Depp’s legal team celebrated when Heard mentioned her name and decided to summon Moss for clarification. 
The “Pirates of the Caribbean’ actor also took to the witness stand to refute statements made by witnesses including his former wife. He alleged that Heard hit him on several occasions and her charges of violence are ‘heinous.’
"I have never in my life committed sexual battery, physical abuse. All these outlandish, outrageous stories of me committing these things and living with it for six years and waiting to be able to bring the truth out," Depp said. 
He also spoke about Heard’s statement in which she mentioned that the actor took about 8-10 MDMA pills at the time of the 2015 Australia incident. Depp said he would be dead if he consumed so many pills.
‘I think one would die. Probably rather quickly,’ Depp testified. On being questioned about how he felt while listening to Heard’s accusations against him, the actor said, ‘It’s insane to hear heinous accusations of violence, sexual violence, that she’s attributed to me and accused me of. I don’t think anyone enjoys having to split themselves open and tell the truth, but there are times when one simply has to, because it’s gotten out of control.’He further added that accusations were ‘ridiculous, humiliating, ludicrous, painful, savage and unimaginably brutal, cruel and all false. All false.’

The trial of the much-talked-about Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard defamation case has finally ended with both teams delivering their closing arguments on Friday. The jury is now contemplating a verdict in the high-profile case. 
Depp's attorney closed their final arguments, asking the jurors to give the actor his life back by telling the world that he is 'not the abuser.' They also urged them to hold Heard accountable for her lies. 
'The evidence presented at this trial has shown that Miss Heard is in fact the abuser and Mr Depp the abused,' attorney Camille Vasquez said.
Vasquez also described Ms. Heard as a 'deeply troubled person, violently afraid of abandonment, desperate for attention and approval.' 
Ben Chew, attorney for the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor, said Depp was canceled by Hollywood because Ms. Heard falsely accused him of domestic and sexual violence in her 2018 Washington Post op-ed. He added that this case is not about monetary compensation but about the actor's reputation. 
Chew further stressed that Depp is 'no saint' and he has struggled with drugs and alcohol, but he is not an abuser as Heard claims.
Heard's legal team during the closing arguments, recapped the case using text messages, videos, and pictures and told the jurors that Depp's attorneys are trying to 'trick' them by claiming that Heard should have taken more pictures of the physical abuse.

'He owns his flaws. He admits to them. He told you all about them. But he is not a violent abuser,' he said.&nbsp;
Heard's legal team during the closing arguments, recapped the case using text messages, videos, and pictures and told the jurors that&nbsp;Depp's attorneys are trying to 'trick' them by claiming that Heard should have taken more pictures of the physical abuse.
'Remember what I said at the beginning, if you take pictures, they're fake. If you didn't take pictures, it didn't happen. Here's one where she did take a picture. But Miss Vasquez says, 'But she doesn't have injuries on her face.' Look at the date that this picture was taken. Ladies and gentlemen, March 23rd, 2013, 15 days after this incident. So even when there are pictures, they're trying to deceive you into thinking, 'Oh, there should have been more.' This is a two week old bruise,' said Heard's&nbsp;lawyer.

On Thursday, Amber Heard returned to the witness stand once again for a final plea in the ongoing defamation trial. The actor broke down in court during her testimony and claimed that she is being 'harassed' and receiving constant death threats due to her legal battle with former husband Depp. She also said that people wish to put her 'baby in the microwave.'
"I am harassed, humiliated, threatened every single day. And even just walking into this courtroom, sitting here in front of the world, having the worst parts of my life, things I've lived through used to humiliate me. People want to kill me and they tell me so every day. People want to put my baby in the microwave and they tell me that," she testified. 
Heard held back her tears as she described the ongoing trial as 'painful' and said that she wants to move on. 
'I walk around with every single day, from what I've lived through, from what I've survived, I'm not sitting in this courtroom snickering. I'm not sitting in this courtroom laughing, smiling and making snide jokes. I'm not. This is horrible. This is painful. And this is humiliating for any human being to go through. And perhaps it's easy to forget that, but I'm a human being. And even though Johnny promised that I deserved this and promised he'd do this, I don't deserve this. I want to move on," she said. 
The 'Aquaman' actor also hopes to reclaim her voice after this lawsuit is over. She said as an American she has the right to tell her story.
On Thursday, Orthopedic surgeon Dr Richard Gilbert, specializing in hand surgery, also testified in court. With X-rays of Depp's hand as evidence, he backed Depp's account of how his finger was injured during a fight with ex-wife Heard in 2015 in Australia.
'So a vodka bottle, which is a hard object, would have crushed the tip of the finger, resulting in the comminuted fracture.And in addition, as the vodka bottle broke, the glass would have lacerated the finger, resulting in the soft tissue loss that was also seen with this injury,' said Dr. Gilbert.
When questioned if he agreed with Heard's testimony that Depp injured his own finger when he punched a phone against a wall, Dr. Gilbert said it was 'highly unlikely.'
Depp and Heard presented their final witnesses on Thursday (May 26). The closing arguments are expected on Friday.

'I'm not sitting in this courtroom snickering. I'm not sitting in this courtroom laughing, smiling and making snide jokes. I'm not. This is horrible. This is painful. And this is humiliating for any human being to go through. And perhaps it's easy to forget that, but I'm a human being. And even though Johnny promised that I deserved this and promised he'd do this, I don't deserve this. I want to move on,' she said.
The 'Aquaman' actor also hopes to reclaim her voice after this lawsuit is over. She said as an American she has the right to tell her story.
On Thursday, Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Richard Gilbert, specializing in hand surgery, also testified in court. With X-rays of Depp's hand as evidence, he backed Depp's account of how his finger was injured during a fight with ex-wife Heard in 2015 in Australia.
'So a vodka bottle, which is a hard object, would have crushed the tip of the finger, resulting in the comminuted fracture. And in addition, as the vodka bottle broke, the glass would have lacerated the finger, resulting in the soft tissue loss that was also seen with this injury,' said Dr. Gilbert.
When questioned if he agreed with Heard's testimony that Depp injured his own finger when he punched a phone against a wall, Dr. Gilbert said it was 'highly unlikely.'

Depp and Heard presented their final witnesses on Thursday (May 26). The closing arguments are expected on Friday.

The news comes days after Biden’s first presidential trip to Asia, which included a visit to Seoul and meetings with Yoon Suk Yeol, the newly elected South Korean President. BTS’ popularity spans across the globe. They are best known for their songs ‘Butter’ and ‘Dynamite.’
In 2017, the K-pop band partnered with UNICEF to launch ‘Love Myself,’ an anti-violence campaign. In September 2021, BTS addressed the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) as special presidential envoy for future generations from native South Korea. They also performed their English single, ‘Permission To Dance.’

Another major revelation has been made in the ongoing Amber Heard vs Johnny Depp trial. Former TMZ employee Morgan Tremaine, who testified on Wednesday, has claimed that he dispatched photographers to click photos of the 'Aquaman' actor at the LA court in May 2016 after being tipped off. He said, 'The objective was to capture her leaving the courthouse and she was going to stop and turn to the camera and display the bruise.'
He added that a link to the video of Depp smashing the cabinets was also shared with TMZ. However, the one presented at the court looked different than the one that came on publication's email.
'I saw that there was a discrepancy with, like, the video that was shown here and the video that I know I'd received. So I had no interest in testifying. It was -- I had reached out simply to maybe try to help with the timeline of things or help with the case in any way, just by virtue of understanding the timeline of the stories that were published and kind of how that can be unclear. But I had no idea I'd be on the stand,' he said.
Bryan Neumeister, USA Forensic CEO, also testified in the defamation case and mentioned that the images of Heard's bruise that were submitted by her legal team as evidence, were edited.
'The actual thing I'm trying to point out is the fact that instead of an operating system, it shows the editing program that was used on this photo,' he testified.
'And again, this could not come out of an iPhone this way. This would go into a computer, be edited and rendered through the photo editing, photo editor. And this would then be embedded in EXIF data,' he added. Depp and his former girlfriend British model Kate Moss also testified in the court.
Depp is suing his former wife Amber Heard over a 2018 Washinton Post op-ed in which she described herself as "a public figure representing domestic abuse."
The final witnesses in the case will be presented by both sides on Thursday. The closing arguments are expected on Friday.
