People's Choice Awards 2024 nominations announced, K-Pop rules with major nods

K-Pop is ruling the nominations for 2024 People's Choice Awards. BTS, Stray Kids, and TXT have received several nods at the award nominations.

Jungkook dominated the Billboard throughout the year for his solo album GOLDEN and now the BTS maknae has received nominations in four different categories. This includes Male Artist of the Year, Pop Artist of the Year, New Artist of the Year, and Collaboration Song of the Year.

TXT and Stray Kids have been nominated for Best Group/Duo of the Year award. Taylor Swift got nominated in five categories including: Concert Tour of the Year for The Eras Tour, Movie of the Year for Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, Social Celebrity of the Year, Female Artist of the Year, and Pop Artist of the Year.

Jungkook's debut album, GOLDEN, launched on November 3, 2023 and since then it has shattered so many records. The BTS’ artist title track, ‘Standing Next to You’ regained No. 70 spot on Billboard's Hot 100 and this made its ninth consecutive week on the chart.

The other nominations include Beyoncé, Leonardo DiCaprio, Taylor Swift, Ryan Gosling, Miley Cyrus, Cody Johnson, HARDY, Nicki Minaj, Bad Bunny, Olivia Rodrigo, Pedro Pascal, and Jennifer Aniston. TV personalities Kim Kardashian, Ariana Madix, and Charity Lawson have also secured nominations in other categories.
