Kiara Advani, Sidharth Malhotra reveal newborn daughter’s name, share first glimpse

Bollywood stars Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra have shared the first glimpse of their newborn daughter and revealed her name.

On Wednesday, the couple posted a heartwarming photo on Instagram showing the baby’s tiny feet resting in their palms, announcing:

"From our prayers, to our arms...our divine blessing, our princess, Saraayah Malhotra."

The name Saraayah is derived from the Hebrew name Sarah and means “exotic princess.” Fans, friends, and colleagues from the film industry flooded the post with congratulations and love.

The Instagram post echoed their pregnancy announcement, which also featured a pair of tiny baby socks held in their hands. This time, the same socks appear covering Saraayah’s little feet, creating a sweet continuity in their journey to parenthood.

Kiara and Sidharth, who tied the knot in February 2023, announced their pregnancy in February this year. The couple chose to stay away from the media during the pregnancy, enjoying the phase privately. Their daughter was born in July 2025.

The couple, who won hearts with their performances in the critically acclaimed film Shershaah, remain one of Bollywood’s most loved pairs. While Kiara and Sidharth haven’t shared the exact inspiration behind the name, multiple sources indicate it is linked to the Hebrew word Sarah, meaning princess.
