Oscars 2024: John Cena goes nude on stage, leaves audience stunned with his act

The Oscars 2024 was an eventful night. From Margot Robbie to Cilian Murphy, many attended the star-studded award show. While the awards have every one's attention, one moment in particular stood out and left the audience shocked.

Things took a wild turn at the award ceremony when John Cena walked on stage nude to present the Best Costume Award. Here is what happened!

John Cena presents award naked

In a video going viral, Jimmy Kimmel introduced Cena as the presenter of the category by hinting that he will appear nude on stage. While Cena was reluctant at first, he soon walked out and gave out the award whilst being nude.

After announcing the nominations, the crew helped him wear a cloth after which he gave out the award of the 'Best Costume' to Poor Things.

Cena has a connection to this year’s Oscars thanks to his cameo Barbie, which has been nominated for 8 Oscars. On the work front, Cena currently stars in Peter Farrelly’s comedy 'Ricky Stanicky' opposite Zac Efron, Jermaine Fowler and Andrew Santino.

Who won what at Oscars 2024?

Davine Joy Randolp bagged the honour of Best Supporting Actress for 'The Holdovers'. “God is so good,” she said while accepting her award. She was honoured with the award after Lupita N'yongo, Jamie Lee Curtis, Regina King and others announced after introducing each nominee.

On the other hand, Hayao Miyazaki's 'The Boy and the Heron' won the coveted Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. In a first for a French film, 'Anatomy of a Fall' bagged the honour for Best Original Screenplay.
