Millie Bobby Brown's 'Stranger Things' co-star Matthew Modine reveals he'll officiate her wedding

Millie Bobby Brown is expected to tie the knot soon with her fiance Jake Bongiovi, and if reports are to be believed, one of her 'Stranger Things' co-stars will officiate her wedding. Matthew Modine, who plays Dr. Martin Brenner, aka Eleven’s 'Papa,' on the hit Netflix sci-fi series, recently told Access Daily how Millie thought it would be a great idea if he officiated her nuptials to Jake.

'They loved what I wrote for them'

Speaking to Access Daily, Matthew said: “I have one of those licences to get people married, and Millie thought it’d be great, and then Jake said it would be a great idea, so I wrote the wedding vows, and they loved what I wrote for them to join hands and to become husband and wife.” He further added, "It’s such a beautiful thing to be able to join two people in holy matrimony.”

The 'Enola Holmes' star surprised her fans last spring when she dropped the big news on Instagram. She posted a black-and-white photo with Jake at a beach, sporting her engagement ring. Taking a lyric from Taylor Swift's Lover, she wrote, “I've loved you three summers now, honey, I want 'em all (white heart emoji).”

Work-wise, Millie was last seen in the Netflix release 'Damsel'. She will feature as Eleven in the fifth and final season of 'Stranger Things', scheduled to release later this year.
