Kevin Hart takes the legal route, sues YouTuber Tasha K & former assistant for extortion

Hollywood Actor Kevin Hart has filed a lawsuit against controversial YouTuber Tasha K. Hart has alleged that the YouTuber is trying to extort him with the scandalous interview with his former assistant. The actor has claimed that the YouTuber is demanding a huge amount of money in return of not releasing the interview. As per reports, Hart claimed that someone representing Tasha K approached his team and asked for $ 2,50,000 as ransom if he did not want the entire interview to be published.

According to the lawsuit, Tasha interviewed Hart’s former assistant Miesha Shakes who made false and defamatory statements. While Miesha has also been sued for defamation and breach of contract, the YouTuber is accused of extortion and invasion of privacy. The lawsuit accuses Tasha K of having a history of publishing defamatory content about celebrities and denies the allegations made against Hart.

Miesha Shakes has reportedly worked with Kevin Hart from 2017 to 2020 in November 2023. The former assistant Miesha claimed in the interview that Hart has a gambling problem, he drove under influence and much more about Hart’s private life including his marriage and relationships.

The clips of the interview have gone viral on social media, inviting the ire of many social media users. The netizens have criticised Miesha for having no integrity and making the actor’s private life public.
