Katy Perry teases new single 'Woman's World'; croons 'she is heaven sent/so soft, so strong'

Katy Perry has teased her new single 'Woman's World' from her 4th studio album. The announcement comes days after she held private listening sessions for her upcoming project. Katy also surprised fans with the single cover art, shot by Jack Bridgland. The photo shows her wearing metallic armour-like over a white mesh bikini. To entice the excitement further, the pop star teased Woman’s World on TikTok by singing along to the lyrics in a selfie-style video. She has been working on her upcoming album for two years. Her fifth studio album, 'Smile', was released in 2020. “Sexy, confident/so intelligent/she is heaven sent/so soft, so strong,” she lip-syncs the lyrics.

New single after American Idol exit

The 'Dark Horse' crooner's announcement comes almost a month after her exit from 'American Idol'. She appeared for the last time at the season finale of the singing reality show on May 19. During the finale, the singer was seen getting teary-eyed as she hugged fellow judges, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie. She said goodbye to the reality show after hosting it for seven seasons.
