Julia Fox reveals 'she is a lesbian', actor's revelation comes in response to a TikTok video

Julia Fox, the 34-year-old actor known for her candid revelations, recently shared a significant update on her personal life. In a surprising twist, Fox, who was previously married to Peter Artemiev from 2018 to 2020 and briefly linked to Kanye West in 2022, disclosed that she has identified herself as a 'lesbian.' This revelation came shortly after she responded to a TikTok video questioning the authenticity of lesbians in relationships with men.

Her revelation came in response to a TikTok video by user @emgwaciedawgie, who humorously remarked, 'I love when I see a lesbian with their boyfriend. It’s like ‘Aww, you hate that man. You literally hate him.' Fox responded by stitching the clip into her own post, stating, 'Hey, that was me. I was that lesbian. So sorry, boys. Won’t happen again.'

Reflecting on her past relationships and her journey of self-discovery, Fox had hinted at her attraction to women in an interview with Ziwe in 2022. 'I have some gay bone in my body and I need to explore that a little bit more.' she said. She acknowledged her past partners' remarks about her sexuality, admitting there might have been truth in their observations.

Fox on celibacy

Fox's personal life took an unexpected turn when she had disclosed that she had been celibate for over two years. In a bold statement earlier this year, she expressed her belief that sex brings no positive outcomes, including parenthood, which she humorously dismissed during an appearance on 'Watch What Happens Live' with Andy Cohen. Fox said, 'I just think nothing good comes from having sex.' She added that this included 'having children.'
When asked if she missed sex, Fox confidently responded, “No. I think it’s just like getting over anything, smoking, drugs, whatever it may be. Eventually, you just forget, and all that energy you were putting toward sex, you can put toward other things."
