‘House of the Dragon’ trailer: Targaryen family is divided over the Iron Throne

Rejoice ‘Game of Thrones’ fans, HBO has finally unveiled the first official trailer of the spin-off series, ‘House of the Dragon’. The trailer gives us a glimpse of dragons and those fighting for the Iron Throne. The prequel series is based on George RR Martin’s ‘Fire and Blood’. It is set 300 years before the events of Games of Thrones and explores the rule of King Viserys I. The show has been in production for a few years, and HBO started its marketing campaign earlier this year.

The first look of 'Game of Thrones' prequel series 'House of Dragon' was released in May.

The show features Emma D’Arcy as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, Matt Smith as Prince Daemon Targaryen, Olivia Cooke as Alicent Hightower, Rhys Ifans as Otto Hightower and Steve Toussaint as The Sea Snake.

‘House of the Dragon’ will premiere on HBO Max on August 21. It will stream in India on Disney+ Hotstar on August 22.
