Heard vs Depp trial: Ex-TMZ employee testifies, says they were tipped off about Heard's whereabouts

Another major revelation has been made in the ongoing Amber Heard vs Johnny Depp trial. Former TMZ employee Morgan Tremaine, who testified on Wednesday, has claimed that he dispatched photographers to click photos of the 'Aquaman' actor at the LA court in May 2016 after being tipped off. He said, 'The objective was to capture her leaving the courthouse and she was going to stop and turn to the camera and display the bruise.'

He added that a link to the video of Depp smashing the cabinets was also shared with TMZ. However, the one presented at the court looked different than the one that came on publication's email.

'I saw that there was a discrepancy with, like, the video that was shown here and the video that I know I'd received. So I had no interest in testifying. It was -- I had reached out simply to maybe try to help with the timeline of things or help with the case in any way, just by virtue of understanding the timeline of the stories that were published and kind of how that can be unclear. But I had no idea I'd be on the stand,' he said.

Bryan Neumeister, USA Forensic CEO, also testified in the defamation case and mentioned that the images of Heard's bruise that were submitted by her legal team as evidence, were edited.

'The actual thing I'm trying to point out is the fact that instead of an operating system, it shows the editing program that was used on this photo,' he testified.

'And again, this could not come out of an iPhone this way. This would go into a computer, be edited and rendered through the photo editing, photo editor. And this would then be embedded in EXIF data,' he added.
Depp and his former girlfriend British model Kate Moss also testified in the court.

Depp is suing his former wife Amber Heard over a 2018 Washinton Post op-ed in which she described herself as "a public figure representing domestic abuse."

The final witnesses in the case will be presented by both sides on Thursday. The closing arguments are expected on Friday.
